The Challenge

Gold Fields Limited is a global gold producer with eight operating mines in Australia and around the world. An expansion at its St. Ives operations due to a recent discovery saw mining commence at the Invincible Project in January 2015. Gold Fields required several low-cost structures including Equipment Service Bays and Geological Workshops Facilities to mobilise operations within the quickest possible timeframe.

Our Approach

DomeShelter Australia™ recognised that Gold Fields would be able to save more in terms of time and money if we offered a unique package that included containers, ballast and installation. Gold Fields was rewarded with multiple benefits when dealing with DomeShelter Australia™ for the complete project. The result was Goldfields had their Sheltered facilities operational in under 8 weeks.
