Hexindo is the sole distributor of Hitachi heavy machinery, equipment and components in Indonesia. They have branches in all major towns throughout the country, with the company headquarters located in Jakarta.
Hexindo needed a Shelter Solution for a Vehicle Assembly Workshop at a major mine in Indonesia. It needed to have enough space and height clearance to house large Hitachi machinery and room to store components. Easy movability was another priority to suit changing conditions at the mine.
DomeShelter Australia supplied two interconnected 15m wide by 30m long Container Mounted DomeShelter™ Structures to Hexindo. The Shelters were manufactured in Western Australia to strict Australian building standards, then transported to Indonesia in kit form for installation by a local team. Outfitted shipping containers provide office and enclosed storage space. DomeShelter™ Structures are able to be dismantled and moved with little impact on the surrounding environment, which is important for many mine site operations.
