The Feast for Relief charity event, proudly supported by DomeShelter Australia, was held on Saturday 5 July at Mumblebone Stud near Dubbo, NSW — raising over $230,000 for families and communities impacted by recent flooding in South-West Queensland.

Led by Chad Taylor and the Twelve Mile committee, the event brought together members of Australia’s agricultural community in a powerful show of support. In partnership with the Michael Manion Wool Industry Foundation, and with direct coordination from the Mayors of Thargomindah and Quilpie, the funds raised are going directly to those most in need.

John “Tractor” Ferguson, Mayor of Thargomindah, said the event would have a lasting impact:

“The funds raised will have a significant impact on the communities of Thargomindah, Quilpie, and the surrounding areas.”

DomeShelter Australia, headquartered in Northam, regional WA, was honoured to stand behind an event that reflects the values and communities at the heart of its business.

“DomeShelter Australia started in agriculture, and we’ve never lost that connection,” said Trevor Fawkes, Director at DomeShelter Australia.

“This event was a chance to give back to the people and regions that helped build our business, and to support communities and families still facing enormous challenges after the floods.”

Donations are still being accepted. To contribute directly to the cause, please contact the Twelve Mile team:
