DomeShelter Cyclone Ready

October usually calls for preparation; when companies gather their safety teams and carry out audits to ensure your assets are in good condition to weather the looming summer storms.

If you are in a cyclonic region, taking precautionary measures to ensure your DomeShelter Structure is ready for the worst is also important to eliminating risk and protecting your assets and people.

Each of our Shelters are carefully designed, engineered and manufactured to a specific wind region rating so that its strong enough to cope with the climate of it’s location. On a fully engineered Shelter, there are a number of unseen specifications that are carefully designed and included to give added strength and durability.

There are a number of specific factors that can put your Shelter at risk, including a Shelter Tarp that is not well tensioned and secured. Making sure it is in good condition and there are no pressing objects is a good place to start.

Maintaining the integrity of your Shelter is also important to it’s lifetime, and capacity to protect. Routinely checks of missing and loose fixings and so forth, are all important in preparation for cyclones.

This year we have prepared a 7-step guideline for you to follow to ensure your Shelter is ready for La Nina season.
