With over two decades of experience supplying to the Mining & Civil sector, around the world, we have a thorough understanding of the unique needs of this sector.

Safety is paramount, as is functionality, durability and cost effectiveness. Above all Shelters must perform in the most extreme environments of harsh wind, sun and dust. DomeShelter Australia products do all that.

Also essential criteria of ease and cost of transport to remote sites and ease and cost of installation are key factors that make DomeShelter™ appealing to the mining & civil sector.

The giant Wheatstone LNG project in Australia’s North West had up to 80 DomeShelter™ Buildings for the duration of the project construction.

DomeShelter™ Structures provided the flexibility of getting workshop, storage and garaging shelters to site quickly, with lower transportation and installation costs. Once on-site and installed, the shelters could be dismantled and shifted across site to meet changing work conditions.

The Inpex Ichthys LNG project in Australia’s northern-most city of Darwin also featured many of DomeShelter™ Structures during development. Our ability to design and engineer Fabric Shelters to withstand the highest rated cyclonic winds prevalent in the region was well respected by our  Oil & Gas clients.

Apart from safety, functionality and cost effectiveness, a key requirement of this sector is durability and longevity.

Whether required on a remote site or outer metropolitan industrial sites, DomeShelter Australia has proven experience supplying essential cover to the industrial and manufacturing sector across Australia and over 30 countries.  Shelters in this sector tend to be longer term and less likely to be relocated to meet changing work conditions.

Light aircraft and helicopters hangars demand large span free spaces and height and a DomeShelter™ Hangar provides just that.

They look good too and are cooler, lighter and quieter. Mounted on standard sea containers which provide secure storage that can also be converted to comfortable passenger waiting rooms. A DomeShelter™ Fabric Hangar is a proven shade solution and a very viable alternative to a traditional steel building for light aircraft.

DomeShelter™ Fabric Shelters are the perfect shade and shelter solution for farming and agribusiness.

Our range of AgShelterTM  products are widely used for hay storage, animal husbandry, equipment workshops, horticulture and garaging. An AgShelterTM Fabric Structure is lighter, quieter and cooler than a conventional steel building, making for more comfortable conditions for both animals and farm workers.

Shelter kits can be installed by the client thereby lowering the total overall cost.

Standard size shelters are quickly available for delivery to the remotest sites, sometimes within just days of order. Transported to site in kit form and easily and quickly installed by clients on-site teams following instructions provided, a DomeShelter™ Temporary Structure can be ordered, delivered to site and installed within a very short time. They can also be dismantled and moved across site or off-site to meet changing work conditions and packed down into kit form again at the end of the project for storage or resale.
